Days 1 and 2: The Encounter with the Older Brothers
Your first steps bring you into the sacred territory of the guardian ancestral. During the first two days, you will walk under the shade of trees millennials to immerse yourself in the universe of the indigenous community of Wimake. You will not be an observer, you are a guest. You will learn the meaning of the payment, you will understand why they call this mountain the “Heart of the World” and to share the silence and the word with those who have protected the balance of life for centuries. DAY 1 | The Awakening Andean and the Root Wimake
The encounter with the ancient wisdom in the heart of the mountain.
- 05:30 AM | The Start: Pick up at hotel (4×4). Route Minca while enjoying the sunrise and the aroma of the coffee plantations.
- Breakfast in Punta Brava: in Front of the iconic coat of arms of Colombia in clay.
- The Journey down to the Viewpoint of Anchovy (overlooking the Canyon of the Guachaca) and 3-hour hike to the village.
- Cultural immersion: Lunch with Lorenzo and Cecilia in the Indigenous Community Wimake.

- Descent through the Cloud Forest: Walk among epiphytic plants towards the last lunch on the mountain.
- The Return: Drop in 4×4 (2.5 hours) while enjoying the colors of sunset.
- End: Return to your hotel in Santa Marta.

- Physical preparation: This trek is demanding. It is essential to have a good physical condition to enjoy it to the fullest. Considered hiking the pre-and cardiovascular exercises.
- Suitable equipment:
